Thornton Weiler
We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team! Please meet architect and structural engineer, Thornton Weiler! At Room Service, we’ve always taken great pride in approaching each project from a construction feasibility viewpoint. Over the years, we’ve relied on Thornton’s expertise for structural engineering drawings to satisfy our permit sets and he never fails to offer valuable advice and assistance whenever needed.
Beyond his professional knowledge, what has impressed us the most is his kind nature and genuine eagerness to support our projects, regardless of size. Throughout the years, we’ve developed a wonderful working relationship and mutual respect for each other’s professions; our expertise in interior design complements his strengths in architecture and engineering and vise versa.
Naturally, we asked Thornton last fall if he would be interested in joining the Room Service team. To our delight, he said “yes”, and now we embark on an exciting new adventure that combines all our skills and passions under one roof! We can officially say we offer both interior design and architecture services. Offering both will only improve our design process, allow us to take on larger projects, and elevate the customer experience! Thank you, Thornton, and welcome to the team!

Room Service Tip #13:
Inquire about getting a comprehensive architectural and structural evaluation before undertaking any modifications, such as relocating or removing walls, or planning to construct an addition.
Before redesigning your home, consult an architect and structural engineer to check if your ideas are possible. Remodeling should be done carefully, with a clear plan before making permanent design choices. Spending time with professionals can save you from future issues, time, and money. So, evaluate your home before getting carried away with your ideas.
